Greetings in the name of our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I am thrilled at the opportunity to be back "home" in Baltimore to serve Christ and the world with you!

The daughter of Roger and Doris Wolfe, I grew up on Canal Rd., east of Baltimore. I attended kindergarten at Christ UMC (Liberty Union didn't have enough building space at the time) and graduated from Liberty Union in 1988. After graduating from The Ohio State University with my B.S. and M.S. in Agronomy, I worked as a Soil Conservationist for thirteen months for the U.S.D.A. Soil Conservation Service. I then attended and graduated with my Master's of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. God called me to serve as the pastor of the Mt. Orab UMC (1997-2000), associate pastor of Armstrong Chapel UMC (2000-2003), pastor of the Anna UMC (2003-2010), and now as pastor of Christ UMC (2010 to the present). In Dec. 2012, I completed my Doctor of Ministry degree at Asbury Theological Seminary in 2012.

As I like to say, I grew up in the church from the time before I was born. God planted in me the seeds of faith through my family and church family at Thurston UMC, where I actively participated throughout my childhood and teenage years. While at OSU, I actively participated in the King's Way Singers, a group of college students who traveled all over Ohio to sing God's praises at many churches, including Christ UMC. During my college years, I grew tremendously in my faith, and then a few months before I graduated from OSU, I went on my Walk to Emmaus and began to sense God's call to ministry. The rest, shall we say, is history.

God truly answered my prayers when he called me to adopt two very special little girls, Becka and Sarah. They bring much joy to me and to many! Without a doubt, they are a part of my ministry.

I'm excited to be "home" and be the hands and feet of Christ with you as we serve Christ together in Baltimore, Fairfield County, and the world!

Yours in Christ's love and service,
Alice Wolfe
